Self Description: I'm 32, vegetarian and I
practice yoga and
meditation every day. Although I have followed spirituality very seriously
for more than 10 years and have had more than my share of intensely
blissful moments, I am going through a spiritual crises at the moment. I
don't know what to do with my life, can't seem to get enthusiastic about
anything. I don't feel like I make any difference to a world so
desperately in need of change. I would happily dedicate my life to
spirituality (and have done) but have become frustrated at this inert and
apathetic society. Simultaneously I have become very sensitive and
doubtful of myself. I never used to be like this!
I like to have fun, sometimes I feel like a child who never grew up. But
alas when I am depressed I'm like a grumpy grandpa. In this condition I
have lost both my self confidence and selfless attitude. I used to feel
so much love in my heart it would ache not being able to express it. Now
even that is slipping away...
Seeking:
I would like to meet other serious spiritualists, young and energetic
(hopefully more optimistic than me at the moment!), especially I am looking
for a partner. I feel life is so short, I can't bare to feel it ticking away
without being able to make a meaningful contribution. If I can't impact
socially then at least I hope to be able to build a loving, spiritual
environment for a family. I expect that one will help the other (maybe
they're mutually inclusive?)
