Talk about synchronicity. I set out
to post locally looking to discuss ego and spiritual practices, and voila,
there was SpiritualFriend.com. Hoping this might take us all to new
places. I've been on a path of self discovery for thirty years since I began
to consciously direct my life. Wow, what a ride. I consider everything and
exclude nothing, reading everything I can get my hands on for clues as to
where to go next. Strict adherents to particular practices misunderstand me.
I listen only to my inner wisdom and my faith in my practice grows daily.

50 year old single dad with 12 year
old son. Student minister in a Christian Spiritualist church, been attending
for 3 years and I love it. Strongly led to native American spirituality,
although I'm Italian. My thoughts are always thinking in the clouds and
about God and spirit guides. I try to find the best in most people, and if I
can't find the best I pray for myself to be more understanding. Love to
watch birds and animals, seem to have a magnetism towards them.

While semi-retired, my
life’s professional work has involved Counseling Psychology & Wholistic
Health with an emphasis on Inner Technology Work (Prayer Power, Esoteric
Hypnosis, Guided Imagery, etc.) My life’s path has been the Study of the
Journey of the Soul. Two favorite books in their poignancy for me are
Traveling the Path of Love (sayings of the Sufi Masters) and
Paramahansa Yogananda’s Autobiography of a
Yogi. The expansive, esoteric, mystical pure nature of all faith filled
spiritual wisdom traditions calls to me. Favorite things: reading, writing,
walking in the magical woods by the ocean, traveling, intellectually
stimulating conversation, the quantum level existence and Seinfeld reruns
(which may be the same thing).
